About Produce Tribe LLC

The Produce tribe was created in January 2017 by Matthew Robinson.  Matthew is an alumnus of Tuskegee University where he obtained a bachelors and masters in plant and soil science. After graduating he worked for Tuskegee University Cooperative Extension where he did work helping and educating small farmers and people in the blackbelt communities in Alabama on growing produce.  He worked for Extension for about a year until he decided to farm full time.

The Produce Tribe is located in Stanton, TN on land that has been in his family for 4 generations. They offer seasonal vegetables, medicinal herbs, and are currently experimenting with mushrooms and added value food items. The farm is not certified organic but still uses various sustainable methods that build up the soil and results in highly nutritious produce. This business is more than just growing and selling vegetables; it’s more about providing people in the local area and West, TN a service of value that can benefit them mentally, physically, and spiritually.
