CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. Traditionally this is where families or individuals buy shares of produce at the beginning of a growing season and receive weekly deliveries of farm fresh produce!

Benefits

• • Connecting with the people who grow your food ( Seasonal items that we do not grow we will source from local farmers that we work with)
• • Access to Local produce (It’s always better to buy Local because you are investing in people who are here to serve you. LOCAL = FRESH)
• • Will help build culinary skills (Every week will have new crops coming to maturity, some of which you may never heard of. We will send out a weekly newsletter with recipes and ideas to spark your creativity when preparing your meals.)

Delivery

• • Delivery days will be every Tuesday at the Brownsville farmers Market from 4-7 p.m. In the circumstance of extreme weather you will be notified of delivery date change.
• • If you will not be able to make a delivery let us know ahead of time for an on farm pick up for Wednesday. Your box will not be held longer than one day.

Veggies

What to look for in your boxes throughout the fall growing season: Banana Peppers, Jalapeno peppers, bell peppers, eggplant, slicing tomatoes, green tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, turnip greens, carrots, mustard greens, kale, swiss chard, lettuce, bok choy, onions, beets, radishes, sweet potatoes, broccoli, and collard greens.

NO REFUND POLICY By you purchasing your share at the beginning of the season that allows us to invest that money back into the farm to make sure we have the infrastructure to provide high quality produce. If you find yourself overwhelmed with produce and don’t have the time anymore you can give some away or sell the rest of your shares to someone else. By joining this csa the risk is shared between us.
